NEW DATES ANNOUNCED! 22 November 2025 at 10:00 am Curious about chickens? Well, why not learn from the Crazy Chicken Lady herself? 🐔👩 Come on a journey into the world of chickens! Learn all the basics of keeping them happy and healthy! The Farm has a very stringent biosecurity regime, which is essential to protecting our extremely rare breeding stud. We are opening up LIMITED spots to other poultry enthusiasts to learn from us directly. (If you participate in this workshop, please be prepared for a full debriefing before you come onto the property.) This workshop is for those new to poultry or are wanting their own and don't know where to start. You may already have a flock and want to learn more holistic methods of keeping chickens. This is an interactive workshop so expect to get up close and personal with some feathered friends. This workshop is located on our beautiful farm with afternoon tea provided. Connect with other like-minded individuals and join us for a fun session. Ohh and if you are lucky, you may even be able to purchase fertile eggs or a heritage hen or TEN! If we've got them in-stock if not we'll grow out for you at the discounted rate! What you will learn- 💪 Health – How we holistically treat our flock and products we have tried and tested. Including a demonstration on 'how to trim wings'. Plus reckonising pests and diseases.·🐔 Breeds – Check out our various breeds of poultry and their perks - eg. egg layers, meat birds, dual purpose or just be delightful!· 🌱 Diet – Free ranging, organic mixes, mainstream pellets? Which feeds are best and why· 🏠 Housing – Keeping your poultry happy, healthy, pest-free, cool in Summer and warm in Winter with correctly setup infrastructure.· ❤️ Behaviour – What triggers them to respond the way they do, and how to break broodiness.· 🍂 Gardening – Chickens are such useful tools for your garden.
